Wow what an awesome experience, we were met at Cairo airport by our tour leader Abdo, what a fantastic person. he made sure everything was organised for us to the last detail.

First we were checked in to the oasis hotel (very nice) next morning he introduced us to our Egyptologist guide Amro who was so experienced & explained in great detail about every site he took us to see. We saw the pyramids at Giza & the Sphinx, then the pyramids at Sakkara. In the evening we went to see the sound & light show at the pyramids which was really good.

Next day we went on the cairo city & museum tour & saw the coptic church, in the evening we went to Aswan on the overnight sleeper train ( we wasnt too keen on that ) but arrived at the very nice Isis hotel in the morning.

In the afternoon we saw the Aswan dam & took a boat trip to Philae temple.

Next morning at 3am we set off for Abu simbel (a 3 hour drive) it was Awesome. In the afternoon we boarded the Crown Jubilee for our 3 day Cruise, sailed to Komombo & Edfu temples then crossed the lock at Esna to Luxor ( the boat cruise was lovely & all the staff where friendly & gave an excellent service)

We attended the egyptian night in full galabaya on board in the evening which was a really entertaining evening.

The next morning we visited Valley of the Kings & Queens (my favourite part of the whole tour) & went in 3 tombs.

We got the train back to Cairo in the evening & arrived back at the Oasis hotel where we had a free day to relax & chill out.

We flew back home early the next morning which was really sad for me as at this point i didnt really want to leave.

I had an experience of a lifetime, all the people in our group were really nice friendly people, some of who i intend to keep in touch with.

I have to say also that Abdo (tour leader ) & Amro (egyptologist) are second to none if anyone is going on the tour & is lucky enough to get them. We had lots of laughs together.

So if anyone is thinking of doing one of the tours i would highly recommend that you do it at least once in your lifetime. You will be so glad you did. I am.
