We have been made aware that some AVG Antivirus products are showing a security warning (JS/Redir virus) when our websites are accessed through your internet browser.

We have checked our websites and there are no security issues to be concerned about. AVG have also confirmed this, and will be updating their program and virus definitions to remove this 'false positive'.

From AVG:

Dear customer,

Thank you for your email.

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused by AVG. Thank you for understanding.

Unfortunately, the current virus database version may detect the mentioned virus on some legitimate pages. We can confirm that it is a false alarm. We would like to inform you that the false positive will be removed in the next Definitions update. Please update your AVG and if a new Definitions update was downloaded, check whether the page is still detected.

Thank you for your time and cooperation regarding this matter. It is greatly appreciated.

Best regards,

I'm pleased to say AVG have been pretty quick to respond and their latest virus update has gone live and fixed the issues it was showing with our websites - all are accessible as normal now.

Our apologies for any inconvenience.
